8 + years of R&D experience with surgical instrumentation / equipment. Ability to effectively communicate and interface with clinicians during the product development phase. Strong hands-on mechanical aptitude is a must. Specific experience with designing and developing re-usable or re-sposable surgical instrumentation for minimally invasive cardiology applications. Must have demonstrated one full product development life cycle from initial concept prototyping through market release.
